Dear business partners, dear friends,

every new week of spring brings us an increasing amount of sun and warmth, which is why there is a growing number of tours, walks, sightseeing and enjoyment in our cities and towns during the first vacations of this year. For the Easter holidays that are before us, we will traditionally welcome the first larger groups of pre-seasonal guests, for which our local people organized a series of traditional, religious, cultural and entertaining events to make their stay content-packed.
In order to show them our immense appreciation for their selection of Central Dalmatia as their spring vacation destination, this year's April is a great opportunity for our guests to see and participate in centuries-old processions of the Way of the Cross on Good Friday, in Our Lady's Lament on Maundy Thursday, but also in the traditions of guarding the tomb of Jesus. The days of a varied Easter program organized by tourist boards are before us, as well as a series of new cultural and entertaining programs and events, which will, in addition to the warm spring days, fill the stay of our guests in Central Dalmatia this April with new discoveries and activities.
The entire range of upcoming interesting events in April and at the beginning of May will provide something for our every guest. Business conferences, cultural and entertaining programs, fairs, exhibitions, celebrations and sports competitions as well as gastronomical events will make Split-Dalmatia County the leading region this spring when it comes to gatherings of guests of various business interests, but also the place of their vacation and fun. New top-grade hotel facilities will open for our guests this spring, and the quality and originality of their offer are yet to be discovered. This is the time when numerous study groups of travel agents, business partners and foreign journalists are staying with us, inspect our region, so to speak, which is why we have a big responsibility to maintain and improve our high position in Croatian tourism.
The period of the busiest foreign promotional activities for our region and appearances at tourism fairs during which we have done numerous marketing steps towards an even better awareness of our partners and potential guests is largely behind us. There are numerous ongoing internet campaigns and advertisements in various printed media, designed to help our guests choose Central Dalmatia as their summer vacation of choice. There is a series of events, parties, conferences and projects before us, some of which can be found in this newsletter, and this will be of crucial importance when making the decision whether to travel to Central Dalmatia.
With the desire to head toward new achievements by working together every day, I wish you lots of business and personal satisfaction and a happy Easter

.

Sincerely,

Joško Stella, Director of Split-Dalmatia County Tourist Board
