This heavenly beach is one of the most beautiful pebble beaches in the world and the most recognizable landmark of Bol. It was created by the deposition of fine golden gravel around the submarine reef, extending like a tongue into the sea. Under the influence of winds, waves and sea currents, the peak of the “Zlatni rat” constantly changes its shape, making it different and interesting every time. The beach is a protected natural area and a favorite place for surfers from all over the world

On the slopes of Vidova Gora, in the southern part of Brač, in the 15th and 16th century many priests sought shelter from the Turkish attacks. Two Glagolitic priests from nearby settlement of Poljica found shelter in Ljubitovica cave in 1551. This was the beginning of a settlement where a monastery and a church, as well as various other buildings, would be built over the years. Blaca has gradually grown into a real historic pearl that, like a chameleon, blends in with its surroundings and which should be visited by everyone coming to Brač. The Blaca desert is a candidate for the UNESCO World Heritage List. Vidova gora on the island of Brač is the highest mountain of the Adriatic islands and one of the most beautiful viewpoints on the Adriatic. Its sides are completely different. On the southern side steep rocks collapse into the sea towards Bol while the northern side descends gradually as a gently sloping karst plateau ten kilometers wide.
