Endless beaches and sea activities
Pebble beaches with crystal blue sea stretch along the entire length of the Okrug with an abundance of pine forest and tamarisk. The most famous beach, the local Copacabana, provides ideal conditions for a family vacation, and there are also Rožac, Labaduša, Mavarštica, Bočići and many others
Nautical excursions and marine activities
The islets of Kraljevac and St. Euphemia are ideal micro-destinations within easy reach by a short boat trip offering a handful of activities such as diving and water skiing. Islet of St. Euphemia, popularly known as Umija, guards the remains of the late antique early medieval church of St. Euphemia, next to which there used to be a set of farm buildings belonging to the Trogir Benedictines
Rich history
Remains of castles, mounds and other finds from the ancient era show that the island of Čiovo, with Okrug on its western side, was already inhabited in prehistoric times. During the Roman Empire, exiles used to be housed here, and from the 5th century this is where recluses and hermits found shelter

Okrug is only a few kilometres away from the UNESCO protected city of Trogir. The most popular destination of the Trogir Riviera, comfortably “tucked away” in the Saldun Bay, encompassing two destinations: Okrug Gornji and Okrug Donji
