At the bottom of the Kancelirovac Bay, some two hundred metres from the sea, there are ruins of the old citadel built on the rock. The citadel belonged to the monks of the Benedictine monastery of St. John the Baptist from Trogir. It was used as a temporary place of residence, but also as a watchtower from which adjacent properties could be monitored
