One of the most beautiful examples of Greek art is hidden in Trogir. The relief of the Greek god Kairos, the youngest son of Zeus, from the 3rd century BC was found in the attic of the house of the Statilić (Statileo) family. This family lineage counts numerous distinguished citizens – diplomats, artists, world travellers. Today, the relief is kept in the monastery of St. Nicholas in Trogir
In Trogir, back in 1271, on October 29, the first pharmacy in Croatia, but also in the whole of Europe, was opened. The proof of this is the original document which reads that a pharmacist named Mucio, who was the son of Leonardo de Malamauc, sold it to Magister Rolandinus. It is assumed that the pharmacy was located in the main square of the town, which was much smaller at the time. The mentioned document confirms the long tradition of pharmacies in Trogir, and on the given date the Croatian Day of Pharmacies is celebrated every year
