Kaštel in Kotišina
Veliki Kaštel, built on the very cliffs of the Biokovo massif, is a multi-storey fortification adaptation of a cave and a raised shelter dating from the time of the Kandyan War. It was built by the local forces under the auspices of Venice in order to combine the military and refugee role of a shelter for the population during the Ottoman conflict at the time. After the renovation and reconstruction of its interior in 2019, Kaštela is now an exhibition Interpretation Centre whose primary function is the interaction of visitors with local culture through the latest technologies
St. Peter’s peninsula
Padlock your love on a chain link fence under the statue of St. Peter on the peninsula. The lighthouse, small church, long promenades, and beaches are all the more reason to visit. Explore also the second World War cave partially situated under the sea
Makarska tour
Emerging from the sea, and climbing all the way to the highest peak of Biokovo, St. George. It is narrow, steep, and winding. The adrenaline drive along the Biokovo road and the view from the highest road in Croatia are unforgettable
