Opera Selecta

Performances by some the world’s greatest musicians will resonate within the walls of Kamerlengo Fortress in Trogir, offering visitors a unique experience of enjoying top-tier musical performances in a historic setting. As part of the festival on July 19th, a fashion show will be held at St. John Paul II Square, where Croatian fashion brands ELFS, KRIE DESIGN, and KOTTERA will present their creations, accompanied by meticulously prepared music by composer Ozren K. Glaser.

A special treat for opera lovers, a kind of crescendo, is a concert by one of today’s most promising young sopranos, Serena Saenz, on July 29th at Kamerlengo Tower. The gala concert will also feature baritone Jaka Mihelač, accompanied by the Croatian ensemble Acoustic Project Strings, and the evening will be completed with a dramatic recital performed by actor Trpimir Jurkić.

To conclude the festival on August 9th, a program shift compared to what has been seen so far. A special contemporary-baroque treat: the acclaimed and award-winning duo, violinist Laura Vadjon and Pavao Mašić on the harpsichord, will perform in the enchanting setting of the Rector’s Palace.
