Dragon’s Cave
On the southern slopes of Vidova gora, there is Dragon’s Cave, a hermitage monastery in a cave that dates back to the 9th century. It can be reached by a demanding and long path but the experience is definitely worth it
Hercules themed trail
On the top of village Splitska there are quarries from which stone was extracted for the construction of Diocletian’s Palace in Split. Today, that palace is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The Herkules themed trail leads from the center of Splitska to the Rasohe quarry where peace and tranquility of nature reign
Beaches and bays
You can choose from a dozen beaches and coves in Supetar but the most famous one is Babin Laz. This beautiful pebble beach is easily accessible by car with the parking lot right next to it. It is ideal for a romantic couple vacation or a family vacation as well. Next to the beach there is a stone wall that creates an old-fashioned and authentic touch in combination with pebbles and crystal clear sea. In the background of the beach there is a pine forest where you can take shelter during the summer heat

One of the 19 preserved early Romanesque churches of the island of Brač is located above town. Almost a thousand years old, it was renovated about twenty years ago. It contains the oldest preserved depiction of a ship in Croatia. From its vicinity, there is a beautiful view of the Brač channel

The Church of the Annunciation of Mary, located in the center of Supetar, dates from the 17th century and is a protected cultural asset. Not even the great fire in 1792 could destroy the church, whose baroque style still attracts the eyes of visitors

The oldest settlement on the island Brač
