Omiš - The Parish church of St. Michael

Published in Culture and sights

The Parish church of St. Michael in Omiš was built at the beginning of the 17th century which is proved by the inscription written in Latin, situated at the lateral doors of the church. The church was principally built by local builders so the old stone bell-tower was finished in the 18th century. The outer side of the church walls is adorned by Venetian nobles' coats of arms as well as with the coat of arms of the town of Omiš.
