Another face of Split
After you see the famous emperor’s palace you will have the opportunity to discover also the other face of Split, established once the Roman Empire belonged already to the past. Veli Varoš is located close to the centre, hidden and yet in the sight of everyone ,. At some time a suburb of a big town now just a part of its centre Varoš offers completely different story from the one about the mighty Roman emperor and proud medieval nobility. This small town within a bigger one has its own history, its strength and its rules that are woven in coexistence of generations of peasants and fishermen. Popular architecture, art, little churches and brotherhoods make just a small part about life in vivid Varoš. You will learn about the history of its emergence and development , habits that used to be at some time, some of them present even today. You will learn how people used to build, live, eat and drink but also to starve and yet celebrate during many centuries of its history.

This package can be organised for a period of three to five days. Indicative programme of activities for three days package includes ; 1 day- visit to the Diocletian palace and dinner in local restaurant , 2 day – visit to Veli Varoš and guided degustation of local food and wine ; 4 day – visit to galleries of local artists and painting class with local artist. Package can be realised during the whole year for the groups of 2 to 8 persons. Accommodation in hotels with 4* and 5* while the transport can be organised by motor vehicles and vans.
