GAST is Back! Dalmatia Tourist Season Prep Underway at Spaladium Arena
After a two-year break, the 26th GAST international fair returns, helping restaurant owners, hotels and family hotels, small renters, and caterers from all over Dalmatia prepare for the upcoming tourist season. The 26th edition is held from March 16 to 19 at Spaladium Arena.
“We have more than 600 exhibitors, co-exhibitors, and brands, a packed schedule of professional conferences, a top program within eight specialized fairs, and we have recommendations for solving the long-standing problem of seasonal labor shortage. The Fair promotes catering professions and presents waiters, chefs, sommeliers, pizza masters, and bartenders. Employers who visit GAST will have the opportunity to see the skills of future employees during numerous gastronomic competitions. We will have a real “headhunting arena,” revealed Split Fair director Sanja Vuković Veić.
The 26th GAST international fair will present conferences for apartment owners, holiday homes, and small entrepreneurs in tourism, culinary competitions featuring the gastronomic trends for the upcoming season, numerous tastings to help caterers create new menus and wine lists, tourism industry novelties, and everything needed to welcome guests at an even higher level than last year.
“This season will be challenging, but that’s why we have experts, educators, and consultants at GAST who can help us with our business. Even if you are not directly related to tourism, GAST always has something for everyone. From the international food fairs to hotels, catering equipment, the wine fair “Dionizijana,” “Furnitura” furniture fair, and the coffee fair. There is also a fair of ice cream, sweets, and bakery products,” Vuković Veić said, giving visitors the chance to taste and sip their way through the region’s best gastronomy.
