Sack cheese
Sack cheese is a high quality dairy product, a fatty cheese with a strong and specific taste. It is usually made from cow’s milk, but also from unpasteurised sheep’s or goat’s milk. It is unique as it matures in sheepskin or goat skin sacks. The sack cheese method of preparation is one of the key factors for the cheese to obtain its specific taste and smell and it is best served with homemade bread or flat bread, potatoes and dried meat.
