Founded in the 15th century, Vrboska is particular for many reasons. It has a particular geographic position deep inside a long, tortuous and narrow fiord whose coasts are connected by bridges and in the middle of which there is an islet that has crowned Vrbovska with the name "Little Venice". The area of Vrboska has been settled since ancient times testimonies of which are the remains of the ancient villae rusticae. The charm of this coastal village lies in the stone houses and numerous beaches. At the southern part of the bay is the ACI marina for yachtsmen, which is open throughout the year.
