The St. Michael’s Futsal Tournament, organized by the St. Michael Sports Association, is one of the most visited sporting events in Trilj and the Cetina region, continuously held for seven years. The tournament gathers a large number of teams and spectators and is played in several categories — senior, veterans, and children’s — involving all generations of participants. The City of Trilj Cup is also held as part of the tournament.
Recognized for its substantial prize fund and strong competition, the tournament has grown into an important summer sporting event contributing to community life and the tourism offer of the destination. Held on an outdoor court in Trilj, the tournament features dynamic matches, competitive spirit, and enthusiastic audience support.

The Thrill Blues Festival is the longest continuously held event in the City of Trilj and enters its ninth year in 2026. Over the years, the festival has built a loyal domestic and international audience and has become one of the key recognizable elements of the destination. Public reactions confirm that Trilj is increasingly associated directly with the Thrill Blues Festival.This year’s edition takes place on 24 and 25 July through a two-day program combining educational activities and concerts at the City Cinema and City Park venues. The festival gathers Croatian and international blues musicians, including Robert Finlay, Taj Farrant, Marco Bartoccioni, Dr. Bekken, and Jolly Jumper. The program includes workshops for children and adults (Thrill Blues School), evening concerts, and closing jam sessions. The festival aims to promote blues music, develop audiences, and strengthen Trilj’s reputation as a music destination.
