During October 2026, Creative HUB Prostor presents a diverse cultural and creative programme including workshops, exhibitions, lectures, social gatherings and other events. The programme focuses on encouraging creativity, sharing knowledge and connecting the local community.

The “October Exhibitions 2026” programme presents an overview of current art, cultural, historical and natural history exhibitions taking place in museums and galleries throughout Split during October. The programme includes exhibitions by Croatian and international artists and a variety of thematic displays.

Christmas Village in Gornji Dolac is a magical festive attraction in the Omiš hinterland, at the foot of Mount Mosor. Each winter, the estate is illuminated by more than four million lights, creating a true winter wonderland across 40,000 square metres. Alongside the impressive light displays and rich local food offerings, visitors can meet more than 150 animals, including deer, llamas and even kangaroos.

Pučišća International Summer Music School and Bol Jazz Workshops In 2026, the Pučišća International Summer Music School celebrates its 31st year of activity – three decades of dedication to music education, artistic creativity, and cultural exchange. Over the years, it has grown into one of the most renowned educational, musical, and cultural tourism projects in Croatia. Throughout July and August, intensive ten-day workshops in classical, jazz, and popular music take place in Pučišća and Bol on the island of Brač. The programme covers almost all musical instruments and is based on daily individual instruction and ensemble performance. The teaching team consists of twenty distinguished professors from prestigious music academies in Croatia and abroad. Participants come from all over the world – Europe, the Americas, Asia, the Middle East, and Oceania – giving the school a truly international character. One of the school’s greatest strengths lies in its combination of education and public cultural engagement. The results of the participants’ work are showcased through a series of concerts across Brač, held in churches, galleries, town squares, and open-air venues. Participants perform as soloists and members of chamber ensembles, orchestras, and jazz groups, becoming active contributors to the island’s cultural scene through events such as Pučišća Summer and Bol Summer Festival. Bol Jazz Workshops – 25 Years of Creative Freedom Through Music In 2025, the Bol Jazz Workshops celebrate their 26th anniversary of continuous activity. Led by renowned musicians such as Nenad Jure Vrandečić and Saša Nestorović, alongside guest lecturers including Judy Niemack, the workshops bring together talented musicians who explore jazz as a space for freedom, improvisation, and intercultural dialogue. Performances as part of the Bol Summer Festival, along with spontaneous jazz sessions in public spaces, further enrich the island’s vibrant summer soundscape. Music Connecting the Community and the World The project fosters strong ties with the local community through collaboration with local musicians, traditional Dalmatian klapa singing groups, brass bands, and cultural institutions. In doing so, it helps showcase and preserve the region’s cultural heritage while creating opportunities for new artistic experiences and knowledge from around the world. Participants are motivated by a variety of aspirations: developing their musical skills, exchanging experiences, and performing in public. The inspiring setting, far removed from the pressures of everyday life, allows young musicians to create, learn, and grow in an atmosphere of collaboration, creativity, and professionalism. The project also brings together families, friends, visitors, and tourists, creating a strong connection between the arts, the local community, and tourism. In this way, the International Summer Music School embodies the very essence of contemporary cultural development: education, mobility, cultural exchange, and sustainable cultural tourism.
