The dalmatian mills
This package is intended for pupils, students and young people from abroad and Croatia, especially for organized school and university groups that wish to get to know the traditional way of life and customs of Dalmatia. The trip includes a tour of the picturesque locations of the karst rivers where the mills are located. You will hear about their history and the importance it has had in the everyday life of the inhabitants, and all the stories and legends attached. Since educational trips for children and young people are predominantly interdisciplinary, the trip includes tours of other cultural, historical and natural attractions, especially those involving karst waterways. On this trip you will get to know the Dalmatia Region from the source of the Cetina to Imotski on the mainland, in other words the area of Split and surrounding coastal towns.

3 to 5-day tour packages are available. The programme of activities for a 3-day package includes: Day 1: Vrlika – tour of the Lelas Mills – Grab – tour of Grab Mills and the source of the Grab River; Day 2: Imotski; Vrljika Mills – Imotski and Lakes of Imotski – cruise from the source of the Cetina to Radman’s Mills; Day 3: Žrnovnica Mills – Solin: Gašpina Mill. The package can be booked throughout the whole year for groups of 10 to 100 persons. Available accommodation in 2 to 4-star hotels and in hostels. Transport is by bus. Professional guidance is available in English, German, Italian, French, Spanish and Croatian languages, and in other languages on request.
