Blaca desert is a natural attraction unique not only on the island of Brač but on the whole Croatian coast. The nucleus of the desert was a cave divided with stone walls – the first refuge of priests from Poljica. With a good walk we are coming down to the convent and museum which contains also the valuable astronomic collection of the last hermit.
