The palace, or locally polača, in the heart of Strožanac, is a fascinating reminder of late antique architecture in Podstrana. The remains of late Antique residential architecture and former palaces are located on a slight elevation, and the main hiking trail passes along this way towards the church of St. George on the top of Perun hill
