Dinara mountain

Dinara belongs to the area of high karst with main mass consisting of carbonate rocks, limestone and dolomite. One of its peaks, Sinjal (1831 meters), is the highest point in Croatia. Spacious grasslands, isolated low juniper woods and pine, oak and beech forests are just some of the preserved natural mountain habitats whose invaluable natural importance and special aesthetic value not only inspire admiration and respect, but require constant and intensive care. Due to its exceptional natural values, Dinara was declared a nature park in 2021
