Medvidina (Monk Seal) Cave

This sea cave, with its magnificent 27 metres tall entrance, resembles a passage to another world. The Poseidon’s gate leads into the longest semi-submerged sea cave on the eastern side of the Adriatic Sea (160m). Until recently, it was the habitat of the only Mediterranean seal in the Adriatic (Monachus monachues), after which it was named.
