The Olive Picking World Championship

In Postire, already traditionally, at the beginning of October every year, the Olive Picking World Championship is held. It is a unique event that successfully combines the two most important branches – tourism and olive growing and has deservedly won numerous awards. The championship lasts 4 days and teams from all over the world compete. In addition to the competitive part in olive picking, workshops, tastings, excursions, and festive evenings are organized in order to experience Postire, eco-ethno village Dol and the very island of Brač in the best possible light
