Way of the Cros in Podstrana

The Way of the Cross starts from the church in Gornja Podstrana and leads to the small church of St. George on Vršina. This is the second church dedicated to St. George on the Perun hill, alongside the one on the Perunsko peak. When you reach the peak, there is a magnificent view of the nearby mountain Mosor and the islands, and near the church at the peak there is also a lookout point, equipped with stone benches and tables – twelve of them have been aligned in the symbol of the twelve Polish villages. The stone crosses, marking the Way of the Cross attract many admirers of the sacred heritage
