Biblical garden

On the southern slopes of Kozjak, since the 1189, stands a church dedicated to St. Mary of Špiljan, today known as Our Lady of Stomorija. On that very spot, a Biblical Garden has been flourishing for centuries, with plantain, olive, and fig trees, alongside vines and other plants mentioned in the Bible. The natural beauty and value of this garden has been recognized and Kaštela have been presented by the European Association for Flowers and the Environment with the “Entente florale” award
