Entrepreneurial zone Podi

A system of infrastructurally integrated entrepreneurial zones which have been established in the territory of Dugopolje municipality, built on the characteristic Dalmatian karst, became a kind of distinguishing feature of this municipality. The foundation stone for the first entrepreneurial zone was laid in 1998, and today it represents a whole along the Zagreb-Split-Dubrovnik highway. This is an ideal destination for shopping. As much as 80% of the space is intended for the development of entrepreneurship, while the rest is reserved for residential and sports-recreational zones. Currently, there are more than 115 facilities in the entreprize zones where about 225 companies with more than two thousand employees operate
