Days of Dalmatian Prosciutto and Wine is a two-day eno-gastronomic and entertainment event held for the ninth year in Vrgorac. It has grown into the largest fair of Dalmatian prosciutto in Croatia and one of the most recognizable events in the destination. In the unique setting of a century-old Austro-Hungarian park and city streets, the event transforms Vrgorac into a true “festival in the city” with multiple stages, a rich fair section, and a diverse program.
The focus is on the largest fair of certified Dalmatian prosciutto (an EU-protected product), regularly joined by other certified prosciuttos from Croatia and around the world, accompanied by top-quality wines from indigenous grape varieties and a rich offer of local delicacies. Visitors have the opportunity to taste premium products, meet producers from across the region, and enjoy a blend of gastronomy, tradition, and entertainment through cooking shows, educational programs, competitions, and evening concerts.
Each year, the event gathers tens of thousands of visitors and confirms Vrgorac as an unmissable destination for a true Dalmatian eno-gastronomic celebration and authentic experience.

A traditional folk festival offering visitors a unique experience tasting bikla – an indigenous drink made from young wine and goat milk, prepared in a specific autumn period for generations in the Vrgorac area.
The event combines heritage and gastronomy, presenting the cultural uniqueness of this part of Dalmatia. For over a quarter of a century, it has revived original customs, offering an evening market of local products, folklore, culinary activities, and diverse entertainment programs, creating a lively atmosphere enjoyed by locals and visitors alike, especially during the post-season.
