Kaštela Cultural Summer is an annual event held from the 1^st of July until the 31^st of August. More than 60 exhibitions, theatre performances and concerts of entertainment and pop music are organized. There is also classical music, folklore, sports events, and various festivities. Events are organized in the most attractive cultural centres, castles, alleys, and squares by the sea. The event called “Dalmatian Song Festival”, organized in July every year in Kaštel Kambelovac is particularly noteworthy. This event especially cherishes traditional klapa singing performed in a modern or traditional manner
