Selca

In the Brač hinterland, only a kilometre away from the sea, lies the culturally rich town of Selca, near which are some of the most beautiful beaches of Brač

DISCOVER

Discover everything Selca has to offer

Bay and beach Lučica
A secluded beach surrounded by a pine forest only 10 minutes from the town centre. If you continue along the coast, you will pass by several coves and reach the semi-abandoned village of Rasotica. Near Rasotica, you will notice an abandoned house that belonged to Brother Andrija Doritić, a Franciscan and a very important figure in the history of Sumartin and Dalmatia.
Bird Harbour in Povlja
Protected pebble bay ideal for swimming and sunbathing. This is the largest beach in Povlja suitable for children and equipped with showers. In the past, the Bird Harbour served as a pier for ships that loaded stone from the nearby quarry
Church of Christ the King
This colossal, neo-Romanesque church with its 45-metre height dominates the square and thus rightly bears another name: Brač Cathedral. In the church there is a statue of the Heart of Jesus, by the most famous Croatian sculptor Ivan Meštrović. The statue is a special symbol of peace cast from ammunition, i.e., shell casings left after the surrounding battles in the Second World War
