„SPLIT SUMMER“

For almost 70 years, during the summer nights from July 14 to August 14, the city of Split becomes a huge stage on which artistic performances of music, drama and ballet take place and which hosts numerous artists every year at the “Split Summer” festival.

It is particularly known for its “Nabucco” and “Aida” opera performances in the authentic space of the Peristil, but also for the ballet performances and concerts of the Croatian National Theatre in Split and the numerous performances. Many concert masters and celebrated artists perform in the Split Summer concert program whilst the programs themselves take place on a dozen ambiental stages.
