THE TRADITIONAL GLOW OF DALMATIA
If you want to become acquainted with Dalmatia in the real sense of this word, with the Mediterranean warmth of towns by the sea, but also the charms of little towns and the unspoiled scenery of its hinterlands, come away with us on a journey through beautiful landscapes and delightful towns. Visit the mills of Pantan, a unique combination of nature, history and a habitat to numerous bird species, fish and local plants, listed as a special ornithological-ichthyological reserve.You will also be welcome in the charming town of Vrlika, long known for its quality water attributed with healing properties. During the summer ill people would come to drink the water hoping to get well, emperor Franjo Josip would also drink this water while visiting these parts. Vrlika has many more interesting features and secrets to offer – take a look at Verlika’s wheel-dancing, and enjoy traditional music and folk costumes. Pay a visit to Sinj, ‘the city of knights’, and learn about the famous victory of the people of Sinj in 1715 which has been celebrated in their honor with the games called ‘Sinjska alka’ for three hundred years, and with this you will complete the perfect experience of Dalmatia.
Tourist packages can range from 1 – 3 days. The activity programme for a 3 day package includes: Day 1: Trogir; Day 2: Trogir – Sinj – Vrlika; Day 3: Trogir. Packages are available from 1 April – 15 October, for groups of between 4 – 45 people. Accommodation is provided at private accommodation or 3 star hotels. Transport is provided by us, by van, bus or minibus. Professional guides are available in Croatian, English, and other languages upon request.
