THE HOMELAND OF ZINFANDEL WINE

We can honestly say that Croatia is the homeland of the famous wine, Zinfandel. The Mediterranean climate with short and mild winters, long, warm and sunny summers gives the opportunity to grow up and produce the perfectly tasted wine. Let us introduce you to the Croatian wine Kaštelanski Crljenak which is genetically identical to Zinfandel.

We will taste the authentic Dobričić – type of wine and learn about its role in the Zinfandel family. You will also be introduced to famous Zinfandel’s child – the authentic wine Plavac mali. We have carefully chosen for your vineries with an established position in the market. As usual in the vineries there will be expert waiting for your who tells you about the wines they produce. In each of them you will meet an oenologist who tells about the wine and the process of making it, during yours wine-tasting.

4-day tour packages. The programme of activities includes: Day 1: Omiš, Day 2: the island of Šolta; Day 3: the island of Hvar; Day 4: Kaštela. The trip is available all the year round for the groups (min. 2 people). Beside the attraction mentioned above each program included: accommodation in 2, 3 or 4 stars hotels (upon the request), breakfast, lunch, dinner, transport, local guides during the trip.
