Sailing the Adriatic 170 Years Ago: Central Dalmatia from the Sea in 1845

Central Dalmatia today is one of the top sailing destinations in Europe, as more and more sailing tourists discover its stunning coastline, fabulous islands and hidden bays.

The region’s sailing history goes back much further of course, but how did it look, sailing the Dalmatian coast in the middle of the 19th century? Do you recognise Trogir, Split, Hvar and others? A true look at the Mediterranean as It Once Was.
