New Wizz Air and Vueling Flights, Increased easyJet Routes to Split Airport
More good news for the summer is here – Wizz Air and Vueling have announced new routes to Split Airport!
Croatian Aviation reports that Vueling will introduce a regular line between Split and Paris (Orly Airport) on June 17, with two flights a week, every Tuesday and Sunday. The line should operate almost until the end of October, with only one flight per week available on Sundays. A320 aircraft will run on this route, with more than 12,500 seats on offer from June to October.
Wizz Air has announced its first new line to Croatia this summer, a seasonal line between Vilnius – Split – Vilnius, which will also start operating in June.
The first flight has been announced for June 13, and two flights per week will run every Monday and Friday until September 23. A320 and A321 aircraft will operate on the route, which has a capacity of 180 and 230 seats in the passenger cabin. This is Wizz Air’s first new seasonal line to Croatia for this year, and there should be more soon!
Furthermore, Croatian Aviation reports that British low-cost airline easyJet has made several changes in its summer flight schedule. Namely, the line between Bristol and Split will operate daily from the end of June, instead of the previously announced five times a week.
The line between London (Gatwick) and Split has increased to 22 flights a week in the peak summer season (increasing from 18). There has also been an additional capacity increase as some flights will fly using the larger A321 aircraft.
The line between London (Luton) and Split increases from 9 to 11 weekly flights, while the line between Lyon and Split will operate five times a week instead of four, with flights added on Sundays.
