New Electronic Music Festival Announced in Split this Summer!

In the middle of summer, Split will welcome yet another massive electronic music festival, which will take place in Žnjan. Alda, one of the largest international production companies, and Insomniac, the organizer of major world events, plan to organize two music events on the Adriatic this summer – in Split and Pula, expecting over 150,000 visitors worldwide!

While the music festival in Pula has already been defined, the details of the Split festival are yet to be revealed. However, the organizers have teased that it should bring the most popular DJs in the electronic music scene today.

According to Alan Harderberg, head of Alda, and Baggi Begovic, director of Insomniac Europe, Croatia will host some of the leading names in the electronic and world music scene in Pula and Split this summer.

“Split is expecting a spectacle that has not been seen in our country yet. All the details are organizationally known and contracted. The music event we are preparing will be enticing primarily because of the performers, but also the fact that this will surely focus on the interest of music audiences globally,” said Harderberg and Begovic.

Deputy Mayor of Split, Antonio Kuzmanić, Mayor Ivica Puljak, and the Second Deputy Mayor Bojan Ivošević expressed satisfaction that Split’s citizens and tourists will receive another world-famous music event.

“Thanks to investments and popularization of our tourist product, Split has become one of the most attractive tourist destinations. Today, Split is synonymous with a complete tourist destination that offers rich cultural, sports, and entertainment content in addition to exceptional natural benefits. Great music events like this put us on the world tourist map and are valuable marketing and economic potential that we will surely know how to use. With this event, we are reviving the area of Žnjan and announcing its new development phase,” concluded Kuzmanić.
