FROM PRAGUE TO SPLIT BY TRAIN: TICKETS ON SALE WITH REGIOJET

A great new addition for travel options to Central Dalmatia from Prague, as RegioJet has announced plans to connect both Split and Rijeka with a direct train service from the Czech capital.

Last year, the service Rijeka enabled passengers to transfer to the following destinations by bus: Opatija, Rabac, Medulin, Pula, Rovinj, Poreč, Novigrad, Malinska, Šilo, Vrbnik, Krk, Baška, Crikvenica, Novi Vinodolski, Zadar, Sukošan, Biograd, Pakoštane, Omiš, Brela, Baška Voda, Makarska, Podgora, Podaca, Gradac, Šibenik, Primošten, Trogir and Split. This year, due to the new railway line to Split, new destinations will be added, and bus travel to new destinations will continue. RegioJet also offers the option to continue traveling to BiH and Montenegro.

The 15 carriages will have a capacity of 650 passengers, and the ticket price will include Internet and a free breakfast. The carriages will split in Ogulin, with 8 cars going to Rijeka, and 7 to Split.

The service will run from May 28 to September 27, initially twice a week, moving up to a daily connection in July and August.
