Having a fantastic destination is one thing, but unless it is accessible, it can be hard to attract visitors.
If there is one thing that Central Dalmatia is not having a problem with, it is attracting new visitors. Split Airport is undergoing a facelift in the form of a new terminal, which is on target to be fully open by July 2019, and whcih will significantly increase capacity for Central Dalmatia after yet another record-breaking year.
And while a record number of airlines are now connected to the Dalmatian capital (more than 100 destinations this summer), the good connectivity news does not stop there. The Port of Split is also breaking records, and on December 18, the passenger number 5 million arrived on the Jadrolinija ferry ‘Marjan’ from Supetar on Brac.
With ever-increasing tourism interest and upgrading and expansion of port services, all the signs are that 2018 could be even busier.
