Vitturi Park, located on an area of 7450 square metres along the coastal part of Kaštel Lukšić, is a unique monument of Croatian garden architecture. It was created by the nobleman, Radoš Micheli Vitturi from Kaštel Lukšić in the 18th century and was the first public park in Kaštela. Proof of this can be seen from the Vitturi family votive painting from 1760, with a figure of St. Rocco holding the park in the palm of his hand. Old specimens of cypress, Aleppo pine, stone pine, laurel, and other trees have been preserved here. Of particular interest are the exotic trees from the cocoa, fragrant Carolina all-spice and other families.
