Vidova Gora
Vidova gora on the island of Brač is, with an altitude of 780 metres, the highest mountain of the Adriatic archipelago. Its south side descends steeply towards the village of Bol whilst the northern side is a mild plateau with gentle trails. It is a perfect place for a walk surrounded by aromatic vegetation and pine forests. The path from Bol to Vidova gora is a more demanding hiking trail. At the top of the highest Brač peak there is a 12-metre high cross made from white Brač stone and a resting point with a view over Zlatni Rat beach in Bol but also to the Italian coast on the other side of the Adriatic.
