The Marian Shine of Vepric

The Croatian Marian Shine of Vepric, dedicated to Our Lady of Lourdes, is located at the western entrance to Makarska and was founded in 1908 in a natural cave, reminiscent of Lourdes. Thanks to the peace and quiet found there, it is recommended to anyone looking for a place to pray and meditate.  There is a chapel with a sacristy, an altar on a square, confessionals, Stations of the Cross, a centre for spiritual exercise and procession paths in the sanctuary. It can be visited throughout the year whilst the dates for the main pilgrimages are March 25^th, August 15^th and September 7^th and 8^th each year.
