The official site of the Tourist Board Split-Dalmatia County

Between Postira and Pučišća the Lovrečina cove finds its place and is the only sandy beach on the island of Brač which also preserves archaeological sites. It can be reached by foot, by boat or by car and is adequate even for non-swimmers and families with small children thanks to the nearby deep shade. Right beside it are the remains of the early Christian church of St. Lawrence dating back to the 5th and 6th centuries and a cross-shaped baptism font. On the feast of St. Lawrence, on August 10th, the residents of the surrounding towns together with guests to the island of Brač visit this location either by boat or by car.
