The 18th century Gašpina Mills Complex, located in the town of Solin, is a protected cultural property located along one of the affluents of the river Jadro where 15 mills once worked. That was the reason why the majority of Dalmatian Zagora inhabitants, as well as islanders came to Solin – to grind their cereals in the Solin mills. It was owned by bishops and kings in the Middle Ages, whilst today it exhibits useful, old items from Solin and its surrounding areas. Inside the mill, static stone parts of mills with stone mill wheels have been preserved.
