The Riviera of Makarska favours the development of nautical tourism. Numerous large and small ports, protected marinas and quality berths as well as an indented coast and a continuous series of coves, will satisfy even the most demanding yachtsmen. Nautical tourism on the Adriatic makes up 6% of the total arrivals and also 10% of the total tourism earnings. Today, this form of tourism is undergoing significant development and as such nautical tourism too is developing on the Riviera of Makarska.
