The house where Marko Marulić and Petar Hektorović resided can be found in Nečujam from where they wrote their greatest works.
When writing Judita, Marko Marulić was inspired by the untouched nature and peacefulness in Nečujam. Today a memorial collection dedicated to Marko Marulić is kept in the house, and in front of the house itself stands a monumental column erected in the name of the poet, Petar Hektorović.
