Dalmatian historical places, Dalmatian museum

Split and its surroundings represent a valuable cultural heritage. Split's old town centre – the Diocletian Palace, the old Salona and other archeological sites on the Riviera are evidence of this area's rich history.
Sculpture and painting have found their home in Split's galleries and museums. Beside the central Croatian National Theatre, the Town Youth Theatre and Town Puppet Theatre can also be found here.
