Škrip is the oldest village on the island of Brač, considered by some people the missing town of the island. It found its place on a hill, with an abandoned Roman quarry situated between it and Splitska inlet. Within the place there is a baroque church of St. Jelena, village saint protector and the Regional Insular Museum situated in the Radojkovića Tower where can be found an antique building of mausoleum form. According to a legend, in the mausoleum are buried Priska and Valerija, the Emperor Diocletian's wife and daughter.
