It is not an exaggeration to say that Split is the centre of Adriatic nautical tourism. Reasons for this equally lie in the long tradition of maritime navigation, the great number of marinas and supporting services as well as its exceptional geographic position. Thanks to all of the aforementioned, it is both good as a starting point for several days’ cruising, for daily excursions or as a permanent port where even remote areas are relatively easily accessible.
